I have transitioned from middle age to my senior years. From full-time work to part-time. From father of 4 children in the house to grandfather of seven (and father of adult children who live in four countries). My metabolic health is good enough to avoid almost[1] all of the [chronic diseases] now rampant in American society (and to a lesser degree, the industrialized world.) My biomarkers[2] are in the 'normal'[3] ranges, without need of any of the typical medications of someone in their seventies. I intend to exceed my parents health-spans[4], who flourished into their nineties.
